“Food is our common ground, a universal experience”. James Beard

After many years I have finally started my foodie blog. I must admit when it comes to my personal life I do like to procrastinate.

I love food; buying, cooking, eating and sharing it. I’m not a chef or profess to be a great cook but I do have a passion for good food cooked simply.

I also have to confess that I love Walthamstow – I am proud to live here. I moved to E17 in my early 20’s and have never regretted it. I think that it is an undiscovered foodie heaven. The variety of produce available in Walthamstow is mind blowing and you would have to travel across London to find the gems that we have here.

And so, I will be writing about my shopping experiences at Walthamstow market and local shops, recipes that use the wonderful ingredients that we have here and also restaurants in East London that inspire my cooking as well as those a bit further afield from my travels.
