We’re proud to have survived our first ever Walthamstowfoodies Supperclub on Saturday night. Sadly we didn’t remember to take many photos as we were so busy trying to get all 7 courses out.

After all the weeks of self doubt, shouting at each other and obsessive testing out of recipes on family and friends, it was a great success. I am naturally quite critical so it was a massive relief to hear laughter coming from our dining room and to see empty plates leaving the table.  Our guests are vocal E17 Twitterati which I was a bit worried about, but phew, this is what was said on the way home:

• Feel slightly like a beached whale but in the best possible way 🙂 Lovely eve!
