This sounds more serious than I wanted it to be. But as the Walthamstowfoodies blog has developed we are now being asked where to go, what’s good and where to avoid. I feel it’s really important that we are clear about where we stand on recommendations, samples and reviews.
The aim of this blog is to promote Walthamstow as a great place to shop, eat, drink and live. We also step outside of the borough, mainly around East London. We feature specific places such as shops, restaurants and pubs because we like them and think that others would too. If we have a bad experience we won’t necessarily cover it – we are not in the business of criticising others so if it’s not listed then you can draw your own conclusions.
If we get invited or offered products to review then we will say; if we like it then we will write about it, but if not you wont be hearing from us. This isn’t because we dont have any backbone but because we believe everyone/place deserves a second chance and I’d hate our lovely hobby to cause any harm.
So on a happier note we hope you like the blog – take from it what is helpful and ignore the rest!
